CQT Services started in 2007 on request from one client who needed our help and now 16 years later we are very fortunate to have many long-term clients who trust us with their business.
Our specialist advice in concrete and quarry materials, specification, constructability, troubleshooting and conflict resolution has become highly sought after and we are very happy to value add to any project where we can.
Since inception we have helped our clients, both here and overseas, to solve problems in almost all areas of construction including: wharves, bridges, tunnels, dams, rail and road infrastructure, major and minor projects, existing and new quarries.
With involvement before, during or after, construction is completed CQT can add real value.

OUR TEAM
Our Team is headed by Michael van Koeverden who has been actively involved in the construction materials industry for more than 30 years, supported by a broad range of associates to provide customised and comprehensive construction solutions.
Michael van Koeverden – Director
Michael is a Civil Engineer and Engineers Australia (EA) Chartered Fellow with extensive experience in Concrete, Aggregate and Quarry products. He is a Past National President of the Concrete Institute of Australia. He had approximately 17 years in technical management of concrete and quarry operations for Hymix, Pioneer and Hanson Construction Materials and started, managed and was responsible for five NATA accredited laboratories. Since 2007 Michael has worked as leading consultant and Director in CQT Services, specialising in concrete and quarry materials technology and was also a founding Director of BGE Materials Technology and Engineered Material Solutions.
Heath Murray – Engineering Consultant
Heath has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Surveying is a Graduate member of Engineers Australia (Grad IE Aust.) and the Concrete Institute of Australia. Since 2019 Heath has worked as an Engineering Consultant in CQT Services, specialising in concrete and quarry materials technology and applies his strong technical skill to bring innovative and timely solutions to our clients.
Dianne Nichols – Office Manager
Dianne has more than 20 years legal and business experience and manages the operational and administrative requirements of our business.
